At Turramurra Kindergarten, we are proud to have a team of passionate educators who are dedicated to helping children learn, grow, and thrive. Today, we would like to introduce Miss Charlotte, the Room Leader in our Dingoes and Wallabies Room.
Miss Charlotte has been working in Early Childhood Education for the past six years and is currently completing her Bachelor of Education. Her passion for supporting children’s development and preparing them for their next stage of learning is evident in everything she does.
Since joining Turramurra Kindergarten, Miss Charlotte has quickly become a valued member of our community. She describes the centre as warm, welcoming, and family-oriented, making it a place where both educators and children feel supported and connected.
One of the aspects that has impressed her most is our School Readiness Program. Designed to help children develop the skills and confidence they need for a successful transition to primary school, the program provides meaningful learning experiences that prepare children for life beyond kindergarten.
Recently, the children explored road awareness and road safety, learning important skills that help them become safe and responsible members of the community. Through engaging discussions, role-play activities, and hands-on experiences, children gained valuable knowledge about recognising road signs, crossing safely, and understanding their surroundings.
This month, Miss Charlotte is particularly excited to focus on name recognition and early literacy development. Literacy is one of her greatest passions, and she enjoys creating engaging experiences that encourage children to develop an interest in reading, writing, communication, and self-expression from an early age.
At Turramurra Kindergarten, we believe that strong relationships between educators, children, and families are the foundation of quality early childhood education. Miss Charlotte is looking forward to continuing to build these relationships and supporting each child on their unique learning journey.
We are delighted to have Miss Charlotte as part of our team and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make in the lives of our children and families.
If you would like to learn more about our School Readiness Program or meet our team, we would love to welcome you to Turramurra Kindergarten for a tour.
